Contemporary Fun ART with Artist Lynn Joubert
Childrens classes
Wed & Thur from 3pm, Sat from 9am
Adult classes on Thursday 6-8pm
Thurs 9.00 - 11.00 - $30
By the end of term students will take home finished contemporary abstract and figurative paintings and be able to paint tone, composition, negative/positive shapes and be able to colour mix in acrylic & mixed media.
First lesson will be an introduction to materials, surfaces and mediums.

Painting FUNdamentals for the Eager Art Student with Artist Phyllis Araneo
Saturday Mornings from 9-11:30.
Minimum 5 students maximum 12.
Cost of $35. per week includes materials.
Ask that students to bring a sample of their own drawings and/or paintings as well as samples of their favourite artists' work.
Classes will focus on building confidence in the students through understanding and exercising the foundations of painting. Each class will present a different visual principle such as perspective drawing, colour mixing, positive/negative spacial relationships, directional flow, fore-middle-background, exploration of a variety of painting techniques and genres, telling a story in two dimensions....and so on. Over the course of the class students will paint from their own drawings, photos and from life. |
