Wild Hearts has evolved to be a wonderfully diverse group of artists whose enthusiasm & inspiration exudes a compelling energy. The inspiration and the opportunities to create the Wild Hearts Gallery have come to me from my many years of teaching and nurturing new musical talents.

This Experience has introduced the many creative people surrounding me, here, on the Sunshine Coast. Creating the Wild Hearts Gallery has enabled me to innovatively introduce established artists along side new artists.

My Personal Aspiration is to nourish this creativity and ensure that the Wild Hearts Gallery works at its optimum whilst having a diverse range of accessible, affordable and collectable art. I would like to present to you this special fusion.

My Childhood stems back to a Queensland mining town on the fringes of the Simpson Desert. This multi-cultural upbringing had a huge impact on my creativity presenting many opportunities to assimilate not only our many cultures, but also the impact of isolation and how infinitesimal we are in this vast enduring interior.

My Family history on the Sunshine Coast reaches way back to when my family settled in Woombye to provide shipbuilding and sugar plantation labour to the area. The Sunshine Coast to a child in the 60’s was this remote paradise only obtained after laborious days & days of travel in the back of a green station wagon valiant! Life has changed!

The Sunshine Coast has been home now for 13 years after many years of traveling & living within Australia and overseas.
