Currently employed as instructor in Ceramics, Sculpture and Design at Cooloola Sunshine TAFE.
For the past 27 years I have been excited and even a little obsessed with the challenge of working with clay. I enjoy handling it, playing with it and trying out new possibilities. This medium's versatility and sometimes unpredictability continues to fascinate me.
My Artistic Career began as a painter and it was during my studies in Fine Art that I was introduced to clay. Recently I have expanded my practice to return to painting and I am enjoying re-discovering the textural qualities of paint mediums on canvas.
