Amelia's hand crafted lamps are unique, sensuous, and truly beauteous. No two lamps are ever created the same making for some truly unusual blends of colour and metal in one of the most distinctive mixed media lamps you will ever see!
From Amelia:
Starting from a wacky high school art project, my first lamp was made from old fencing wire, covered in chicken wire, scraps of material and other bits and pieces of junk.
With help from my farther I learnt how to weld.
Over the years I experimented with different wires and metal, trying to find designs that were structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing. I constantly up graded all materials as I found new things that worked and looked better.
I enjoy making lamps even though it is very tedious time consuming. The finished product is always worth it.
